The Garden Company Ltd is a Wellington based company specialising in large scale planting projects and high-end garden maintenance including Embassy works. 

Due to the expanding workload we are looking for an experienced Landscape Gardener for our Greens and maintenance teams to also carry out maintenance gardening and soft landscaping on work sites around the greater Wellington region.

Daily tasks will include weeding gardens, pruning and reducing over grown shrubs and trees, spreading and planting trees, bushes, hedges, preparing lawn areas by spreading top soil and sowing grass, fertilising, watering and mowing lawns, installing plant support and protection devices, strip out old existing or create a new garden beds and control of insects and disease.

Previous experience in working with and general maintenance of all type of garden tools and equipment is essential.

You will be both a team player and have the ability to work alone, unsupervised showing initiation and your knowledge in soft landscaping.

We pay a good hourly rate, based on experience.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
